First off I'm new to this.Looking for a starting point for a rollout or gear.Will be running a Mamba Max with 7700 motor.10nimh 4600cells with 2.5 on rear tires.Any help would be appreciated.Almost forgot.it is a GMS 11 chassis.

start off with an 81 spur about 28 pinion keep it tight or you will snap rotor shaft. use computer to turn down punch and throtle curve till you get use to power. work pinion down to as close to 18-19 as you can. go luck are you using 2s or 3s lipo
i got a gms promod spec with 5700 3s lipo turning 1.8s 76+mph still havn't cracked up esc yet

Popsss...What kind and size 3s LiPo's are you running? I'm running 5700 with a 2s LiPo 5000, a 96 spur and a 20 pinion and I ran a 1.87 in my dragster.

1st for original question you looking for a rollout of 1.80. to 2.00

2nd question it a losi 3200 3s 20c not really good.
also this is a super gas 10.5 in wheel base.
this week used a IP 3200 2s 35c ran 1.92 71.67 mph

I'm from Long Island but been living in NC for a few years now. I used to RC drag race in North Jersey every Sunday. But now I found a track 5 min from my house and i'm there all the time. Most all the guys run nitro but i'm still running my old Fine Design dragster and funny car. Just trying to figure out the brushless/LiPo thing...its alot different from the cobalt/NIMH.

We raced in a parking lot in Totowa. If you heard of Fine Design...I raced with all those guys. This girl Kim owned a hobby shop in Totowa and she setup the track.

Hey are you racing in fuquay? If so perhaps you'll be making the trip down to florence sc in two weeks with those guys for the regional. We'll be glad to help you out at the track in any way we can. We have a number of experience electric drag racers that will set you up in no time.

I would, but i'll be in Darlington racing my real drag car at the Mopar show. I'm going to try to stop by Florence to check it out.
