Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what brand this military truck is? The front of the box says Metal Collection Armour 1/72. Side label says - ART. 3140 U.S. 2,5T Truck Open Cargo

Any help will be appreciated.....

probably C.D.C. S.r.l. Via F. Lippi. N 19.

probably..... but the question is who are they, as I never heard of this company before, and if they might be associated with another company.... someone suggested to me that they might be associated with Vitesse Victoria, but thought they only made cars in 1/43 scale....

Hi Vadim,

Did some Google searching. It's a line called CDC Armour by now-out-of-business company called C.D.C out of Milan. Here is a link for more info: http://www.mikes-tanks.com/CDCArmour.htm

probably C.D.C. S.r.l. Via F. Lippi. N 19.

S.r.l. is Italian abbreviation for "private limited company". It's the Italian equivalent of American LLC

Via is Italian for Road. Via F. Lippi N 19 is the address of the company - #19, F. Lippi Street

Thanks!

Now I know if I'll see this guy again who sold them to me, which other pieces I need to look for.... as I am not too much into tanks for my own collection but I do like some of the wheeled tanks they made....

Vadim - There was a brand called "CDC Detail Cars" in the early or mid '90s. They made very high quality 1/43 scale models of European cars - almost on a par with Minichamps but not quite as good. The brand was also from Milan. I believe CDC Detail Cars is a brand related to CDC Armour. I don't think the CDC Detail Cars were related at all to the Portugese Vitesse/Onyx/Victoria models. - ranchero -
