hello everyone!
i was thinking to buy new Lipo batteries and a charger, on internet ofcourse. since the time im on my search i see only Chinese manufacturers. I mean its really a important decision to be made on Lipos, u know coz of the charging procedures and precautions. I was wondering if i should buy something on ebay from Chinese market, I see many sellers offering Lipos for less then 10 Euros (+15 Euros for shipping), no clues at all ???
can someone please advise me?
where to buy Lipo Batteries and a nice charger?
and what app. would it cost?
I've a monster truck scale 1:10, a 540 Motor, of 7,2 V
thanks a lot in advance!!!!

If you are new to LiPos your best bet is to buy from one of the major suppliers in your country (you didn't say where you are from). They can provide you with a good quality battery that you can be confident will work well. Generally buying cheap stuff from an unknown source can be trouble.

thats excatly where i'm coming from, i don't wanna buy cheap china made products, the only problem is that its F hard to find hobby shops in Germany( I m from germany :))
now i was looking for someone who can advice me to buy something online, but from USA or UK or Japan, to be honest, in Germany we don't have much hobby shops, so that mean no chance of bargain on anything. We normaly shop online and everything is made in China.
can you give me a piece of advice please?

I purchased 2 LIPO packs off E Bay and they were shipped from China with no problems, but that was a year ago.
Things could have changed since then.

Almost all of the cells in modern LiPo packs come from China so it isn't so much where they are made but who is repackaging them and selling them.

I have good luck with both rcmart (a HobbyTalk Sponsor) and hobbycity. Both are out of Hong Kong and both ship all over the world. Shipping from them to the U.S. has been less then 12 days.

I've heard a lot of good about Hobby City as well. A couple of racers at my local track use chargers and LiPo batteries they bought from them and they all seem to be working and holding up excellent.
