ScottH 04-18-2009, 12:48 AM How well does it work if you are running an offset front end?
D&T Machine 04-19-2009, 06:19 PM I would say that there would be no problem with a offset front end.
if you are talking about 1/32 or a 1/16 or something. Still I don't think that there would be anything that would bind up if it was offset even more.
thanks, Dave

napolean 05-01-2009, 04:20 PM I finally got around to setting my car up for racing this weekend, McPappy Dart for Oval, and got to use the new tool for the first time. Having owned the original version of this that was available many years ago, I always felt it was a useful, visual tool, however, to compare that tool to "this" tool is like comparing a tape measure to a micrometer! This tool give you an immediate, and obvious picture of what you have to do to get the toe you want. The Blocks are the same thickness as the Channel, so that when you get to "0" toe, the Block is square with the outside of the Channel. For accurate front-end set-up I now wouldn't be without this tool, and my KSG Camber tools. Great product!!!!!!
D&T Machine 05-01-2009, 08:36 PM Thanks Napolean
I am happy that you like it. I try hard to make a good quality tool.

spraydbysprague 05-04-2009, 10:44 PM Really simple and effective looking design. An idea popped into my head looking at this. Would it be possible to incorporate some type of camber adjustment measurement?
With respect to the camber adjustment, when I tried out this tool at Maximus a few weeks ago, I used my Team Integy camber gauge and it fits in the "slot" of the channel easily. This gives a very accurate measurement of the camber. The RPM branded camber gauge is too wide to fit into the channel.
Later,
Greg

Bond Bond 08-05-2009, 12:56 AM Dave hello, will i be able to get mine updated anodized Black and marks put on????
Best tool in the pits.
Brian Bond From the Stryker Nation.
D&T Machine 08-05-2009, 07:25 AM I would like to get one finished and check it out to make it is right and I will put pics on here.
We are trying to have someway to uprade to the black anodized part from someone who has a toe tool already. The only problem is that the anodizers have a minimum charge on parts. It would cost too much to get one tool anodized. I would have to ship around 10 at a time or put some tools in with another group of machined parts that get anodized black. Right now that happens about once a month.
If I can ship in a group it will work out to around $10.00 per tool shipped
It could take a couple of weeks for the process though.
I will keep you updated.
Thanks Dave
