I posted more pics and backstory on the customs board, but I wanted to share here as well. Let's face it, there is just not that many places you can post a pic of a Yatming!
The casting stated it was a Ferrari, though it's hard to see it in there. But I took them at thier word and went with an early '70 recreation. Hope you like it. I just though I would throw something different at the international board!

Hmmm very nice, never thought Yatming did something as nice as this one.
Well, it's got front and rear wing "inspired" by 312B, side pods ""inspired" by 312T (although closer to Lotus 72), and exhaust a little reminiscent of early 312 (but with only 6 cylinders???).
More importantly, it's red and carries a Shell logo - good enough for Scuderia.

Looks to be in excellent shape for a 30 y/o. Pretty cool.

Trust me, it did not start out looking like this! I did not think to snap a photo of the before, but here is a pic from "13087", an Ebay seller out of Argentina. Belive me when I say mine did not look this good!
G, if you read my text on the custom boards, I mention the Lotus 72 sides. I am pleased you saw that as well. That tells me I was not nuts and dreamed it, at least two people saw the same thing!
The engin cowl and wing combination is what pushed me to the '71 season for the livery.
Thanks for the look fellows.

Nice paint work.
That red you chose has a nice deep darker tone to it.
And the wheel change helps it out big-time!
