Since going to the artin international home site and seeing they have no analog mentioned anymore .Has anyone ever created an adapter track from artin to another brand?Yes I know there are bits and pieces out there and brand new sets sitting in some areas but if there not making them then we move on. Or do they reappear?
Peace

On the last toy festival in germany, Artin has announced a new collaboration with Fly racing.
It include a partnership for creating Fly race sets. So, if everything goes right, artin 1/32 great track system will be always available. I just hope the new classy "Fly" trademark will not raise the price...

I could be wrong but I thought Fly was in trouble (who's not). I hope that's true, thanks for the update.

A solution is to collect all the artin track you can afford and find, so even if the brand 's got problems in the future, you will have enough track pieces for your projects ;)
The man who owned Artin passed away and left everything to his wife. His wife, not wanting to deal with, began looking for a company to either merge with or sell Artin to. From what has been told, FLY has purchased Artin from her and will be continuing the Artin line. FLY is struggling to keep their doors open because they have YET to send their producing to China, like the rest of the slot car companies. But, with the Artin relationship, this now gives them an instant open door, through the China relationship already built through Artin, to maintain Artin, but now start sending the FLY cars to China to reduce their costs.
Question is, will FLY be able to maintain this status as a modelers car or will they become another China quality produced car?

Golly gee, why would producing a product in China run any risk of quality issues?

It's not like their manufacturing sector has ever had issues with material substitiution or anything like that...
HEHEHEHEHE!!! As long as you do not put it in your mouth or actually use it for what it was intended for, you should be fine. LOL!!

Thanks for the clarification...was just passing along what I had been told/heard/read through the "grape vine."
Bottomline, Artin lost its distributor in the US and sounds like they are joining up with FLY to reap the benefits for a mutually beneficial relationship - Artin gets a distributor and FLY gets a cheap factory.
Thanks Rauncy for clarifying!
