i would like to bypass the ssd conversion chip in my slot it mercedes.the goal here is to keep the chip in place, but use jumpers to bypass it for analog racing.basically,i am looking for better modulation and braking.any tips?i would rather not remove it,as i may find someone with a digi track and that would be fun.

I maybe mistaken, but, I thought if you just popped those chips out it would make it analog? I think I've heard the digital guys talk about that before, but I'm not 100% sure since I don't own anything digital. Have you tried just removing the chip and running it on an analog track?

there are two wires to the chip, then two from the chip to a capacitor on the motor.it looks like some soldering may be involved, and i do not want to damage anything.it runs well on an analog track, but i would like more modulation and brakes.it is fun to drive but you have to kind of let it drift into the corner, and it is a little tricky to find the sweet spot.you have to basically go full throttle about half way down the straight and release the throttle about at the half way point to ease it into the corner on its own momentum.
