However, its no surprise - I was expecting that Playmates would do a lousy job based on the other low quality stuff I've seen from them. Huzz Gemini1999 04-11-2009, 07:17 PM That's too bad. However, its no surprise - I was expecting that Playmates would do a lousy job based on the other low quality stuff I've seen from them. That's very true... I remember when Art Asylum started doing all the Trek merchandising when Enterprise came out, the ships were better, the prop weapons looked better and even the figures were a whole lot better. They've become the new benchmark for Trek merchandising. The whole Playmates merchandising thing is strictly for kids, not collectors or modelers. JeffG 04-13-2009, 03:09 PM Terrible and basic looking toys. Roguepink 04-13-2009, 06:45 PM I like it. It is sturdy, has cool lights, and seems to have good play value. It looks mostly accurate, though the alignment of the saucer to the rest of the ship is poor (it was the same on mine). I like the comparison shots with the 1701-A. Very interesting. I've had lots of fun pressing the button on mine. I miss the old days when toys could shoot things. I would have worked a "photon torpedo" into the center of the deflector, something I could fire across the room. falcon49xxxx 04-17-2009, 02:15 AM looks good to me.......... vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
