Just saw these new Boss 429's on the bay. Jeremy from Collectables Corner is holding a Toy Show called NorthWest Fest in Idaho this weekend. The Boss is 300 Regular Version and 60 Made (48 Available) Gold Rimmed Chase Version. Looking sweet.

Just checked it out. Pretty cool. Now there is a situation where those large restomod rims are appropriate. With that said.... a bit too pricey for me.

These chase models with gold rims and same paint scheme as the regular models don't excite me at all. Now, the DiecastSpace black Olds 442, black and gold and chrome issues, those are chase models.

do you have a link to the diecastspace black olds?? i haven't heard of or seen this one yet or are you referring to the las vegas super convention one??: if so, that one is probably the sweetest olds chase out there!!:thumbsup: i agree about the gold wheels too. although they look better than the silver on black, they certainly aren't worth the astronomical additional price they go for. IMO gold rims versus silver rims just doesn't add much of a chase appeal.

that black n gold convention one would be at the top of the list of my most wanted if they ever became available to the general public. i'm sure it would definitely be out of my price range if one were ever to surface.

as for centralia....they knocked down a few more houses over the past year or so and the ground is beginning to smoke right inside the fence for the cemetery, an area where they said the fire would never spread under due to it being over a massive bed of rock. it does host a nice view of the windmills they put in at the top of the mountain that start in aristes and spread all the way over to shenandoah. other than that, it hasn't really changed much over the past few years.
