Is everyone running the Losi 8ights? If so, (and I mean this in a good way) why? I've always been a Losi guy, but you hear a lot of stuff about AE and Kyosho in Nitro buggies. Haven't really been out to check out the eighth scale tracks to get the low down, so any brand feedback, good, bad, or otherwise would be greatly appreciated before I make the jump.

I like the 8ight because the offset diff lets me have the battery closer to the center of the car and gives me better left-to-right balance. IMHO, about the only thing bettery is split packs on each side of the car with the motor mounted on top of the driveline.

Kyosho Infernos convert nicely. I did one and helped on another. Split batts too. Nice buggy to convert.

Same here. Heard about them, but have never seen one. Not popular around here.

I am able to run faster lap times with my Fusion than my Losi!
I really like the car, it is better balanced than anything out there. you can run 3200 packs or 8000 packs and it will still be balanced.

Like the way the Castor one is set up, but eneded up going with a Losi 8 because I found a good deal on it and the guys I run with all run Losi so I won't need to stock as many spare parts.

Supposedly, it's on the way, so I should be at the track shortly with it.

Still wouldn't mind picking up a Caster to compare if the deal was right and I had the money.
