Over in the HT modeling forum there is a thread about a Polar Lights reissue of the TV Batmobile model with original Aurora box artwork. It looks like this model is due out at the end of this year. If the rights to the Batmobile issue is finally resolved, maybe we will finally get a repop of the TV Batmobile in the slot car line also. Has anyone else heard about this?

That would be great. Maybe I can finally get the real Batmobile in HO once again. :)

One thing to remember though, is that Hotwheels has been on a Bat-Mission for at least a year already. They did the 66 version in DC last year and are still releasing different scale versions this year. Not sure if that will deter any company from releasing a simultaneous similar scale vehicle or not. nd

It is the 1/32 Batmobile. I don't know if this made from the original molds or reversed engineering. PL was supposed to release this when they released the Green Hornet car, but for some reson didn't.

Now I don't have to try and restore the original one I have!
