Which brushless motor would be good to get for you money? there are just so many to choose from. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Any of the major brands are good motors and you'll be able to get decent support.

Inferno has a good question. What it goes in and what it is used for (racing/bashing) helps make the decision.

if going in a slash, i would go with the vxl system, 83t spur and 23t pinion, thing will rip on a 6 minute run, you will be ok, any longer it will start to get warm, if you just play in the yard stock spur and 19t pinion, be good till battery needs chargin!!
