I have an older truck, the nitro sport by traxxas, but I want to convert it to electric. does anyone know which motor would be good for this. i am not into full on racing, mainly just for fun in the dirt and what not. Also, i am on a budget around $150 (for the motor). Also, any suggestions on other parts that i would need for this transformation? thanks for your help.

It would be more expensive to convert than it would to sell your nitro and buy an electric (IMO).

i agree, would be cheaper to buy one, either the vxl rustler for 269.00 or the slash, for 169.00 to 190.00. or look on here for a nice used one, most of the guys on here do not sell junk, pretty nice and trustworthy people here. im sure you can find a good used one that you can have fun with for around 120.00-140.00. good luck!!

Not sure there's a conversion available for your application. I agree with the other suggestions.
