What is your favorite tire and what type of track do you use it on? Just looking to see what is popular.

Hankster. I have had some bad luck with Proline tires. Used hard to medium to soft compounds. Didnt matter, got terrible wear. They also required A LOT of balancing. The bow ties for some reason ballooned a lot for me? I have since switched to J Concepts tires. They have a few tread patterns similar to Proline. I have been using the Cross Hairs, and now have added Hit Men to my stock. Our track is made up of baseball infield sand and clay. The track is hard packed and watered frequently throughout the day. In the morning itll stay that way. But by afternoon sun, it gets hard packed, slick, and loose sand on top. I really like the J concepts tires a lot. They are lasting longer for me. Adapt well to the track conditions I run on. I have never had to add any weight to balance them. Ballooning is not an issue. Lastly, if you look around on A Main Hobbies and even the J Concepts site, you can find good deals. I have yet to pay near Proline prices for these tires. I can also glue these tires up much easier than Prolines. Why? You got me? Im not a good gluer by any means.

+1 on the Jconcept. I will neverever buy the Proline tires again. Not to mention they just stink coming out of the package.

Thanks for the info. I did get some Crime Fighters (premounted) just as fall back. Also picked up a set of JC Hit Men and AKA City Block tires. I should be all set for just about any track condition now :)
crimefighters seem to be a very good all around tire. also the panther boa is a very similar tire to the crimefighter and like other panther tires seem to last much longer.

KVRC - Yea I have to agree with you on Panther tires. I run the Komodo Dragon tires on my RC10GT. Pretty good tire. Hankster, let me know how you like the AKA tires? I was going to go that route when I decided I had enough of Proline. The J Concept tires were the right price.
