I know I'm late jumping on the bandwagon, but I just got the Seaview last weekend. I'm mostly a builder of figures, but after the Invisible Man, I worked up the nerve to try something else. I'm amazed at how well the kit--at least the hull-- goes together and how few seams it has--especially given its size. Moebius has done it again. Now to trot out my DVDS of VTTBOS second season for the interior work. Thanks again, Moebius, Frank and Chris. That's one serious hunk of plastic. Moderator should feel free to put this wherever the Seaview kudos have been stored.

I've been waiting for 2FatGuys' extension plug to really get into finishing mine...and it's killing me! I understand it's getting closer to being done (and may well be unnecessary but I like the idea of extending the length a bit) and I've got tons of other kits in the works but I can't wait to have the Seaview finished in my shelf...

"I've got tons of other kits in the works"
So why worry about the Seaview? You might have time, after you are reincarnated.

Same here. I have a ton of kits to be built and in process but I have to stop everything to work on this. The Seaview kit is like 5 models in one and if you look to do an "ocean floor" display for it and its many "vehicles", this project may not end in my life time! I might have to put my unbuilt kits in my will to my son!

Take your sweet time with the Seaview build; it'll be a thing of great beauty if you don't rush it.
Painting and assembly is the relaxing and rewarding thing about a successful build, AND it provides a great escape from the stresses of everyday life.

Believe me, when I have the plug the Seaview goes to the front of the line. And I am doing work on it bit by bit, I just don't want to rush until I have all the elements in place...
