newbie2 03-31-2009, 03:35 PM anyone remember wat tires we ran on the 13.5 trucks last year
buglite62 03-31-2009, 04:33 PM Ok if anybody is still thinking of a wheel chair spot, I came across a big rack they are throwing away. It's about 6 feet wide, 15 ft long and maybe 2 feet deep. It's a big rectangle thing they used to hang from the ceiling to hold lights and other things. It's made from 1 1/2 or 2" alum square tube. It has cross beams every 2 ft or so. If you cut it in half you could use one end for the platform and maybe split the top and bottom of the other half and maybe make a ramp, not sure. I might be able to get 2 of them, but I need to know soon, like there tossing them tomarrow or thursday soon. I forget who wanted to build one, but if this sounds like something that would work let me know. I was trying to figure out where it could go unless the timing booth is moved.

bustedpiecesrc 04-03-2009, 11:28 PM right.. the oval is lookin awsome right now also.. looks like dukes been doin some work on her
buglite62 04-03-2009, 11:35 PM I think your right, smooth as glass.
bustedpiecesrc 04-03-2009, 11:37 PM well of course im right....
ronnzilla 04-04-2009, 09:57 AM 2 more weeks! can't wait to let this mod latemodel breathe
newbie2 04-04-2009, 11:07 AM hey Duke did u get enough "stimulus" money rom Obama to put a roof over the track so we can run in the rain? lookin forward to the opener on the 18th
bustedpiecesrc 04-04-2009, 05:55 PM randy ran his mini slider on the track today, the oval is in really good shape to play on, hopefully the weather man is lying about the snow (the idiots) i wanna play sooner than later
Toytech2003 04-04-2009, 11:12 PM i heard a rumor that we were gonna try to start earlier than we did last year ass in earlier in the day is that true:wave:
bustedpiecesrc 04-05-2009, 12:01 AM its up to duke but i would like to get out of there a little earlier and offroad is normally done by 4 anyway, the way the offroad is going it wont be done at all so we can race when ever we want on the oval.... cant get the track dry enough to do anythng with it, very fustrating!!! maybe we can get started about 5:30 6 and maybe push the races through a little faster with less time inbetween races.. no waiting of people, that sort of thing
sbrady#0 04-05-2009, 07:52 AM whit out off road racing can we run more practice on the oval on the 18 I plan on coming up if the weather is good
bustedpiecesrc 04-05-2009, 09:54 AM im hoping that the weather isnt so bad sunday night andd monday, dont look like its going to be to bad tuesday and partly sunny the rest of the week, hoping its will not hurt the offroad to bad i wanna get it done before the 18th so we have a full day of racing
Toytech2003 04-05-2009, 09:06 PM for the offroad is there a two wheel drive truck or buggy class i have a associated t3 thought abought maybe runnin would have lipo and brushless
bustedpiecesrc 04-05-2009, 09:59 PM sure.. we would love to have more electric show up to race.. we want to see more come out to play like slashes, t4, t3, losis, buggies and trucks, 4wd's, thats why we are rebuilding the track to accomidate the smaller scale cars without destroying them. the track last year was rough on the electric, most came off broken and always marshalled... the track is going to be an easier and more open for every type of class
sbrady#0 04-06-2009, 07:46 PM are you still hoping to havw the off road ready for the 18
bustedpiecesrc 04-06-2009, 09:14 PM we would like to.. it depends on if we can get the track built this week through the weekend.. Randy, Duke, Scott lets get to work, hopefully the weather holds out and stays nice and sunny
buglite62 04-06-2009, 09:33 PM I have a stump grinding job tues, water tests for the health dept wednesday, meeting with Duke Thursday should be good Fri and Sat. I'll make it to work at Trendway somewhere in there. If it's nice and we can work on the track I'll take Friday off, need use of the loader though to move timming box.
bustedpiecesrc 04-06-2009, 09:38 PM we are thinking of moving the "big wooden box" towards the oval more so we can put in the wheel chair ramp and DS on that end...
Fred Knapp 04-06-2009, 10:03 PM Duke,
