jasburrito 03-31-2009, 08:48 AM Any chance of running on the offroad track this weekend? Sat looks nice now.
BrentV 03-31-2009, 09:27 AM Swint are you running 4s, 5s, or 6s in your Losi? I'm looking around at Hobby King to see what packs I should get for the e-version Jammin.
BrentV 03-31-2009, 09:30 AM Duke,
Can we consider a race event during the summer that would be an enduro? Maybe 6hrs. thru the night. Multi manned teams, etc. Just a thought to change things up a bit.

If I can get the lights up this year that would be a BIG possibility!!
Sounds like an awesome event!
Also, the track will not be ready this Sat.

buglite62 04-01-2009, 09:34 PM I took the salter off tonight so it's a guaranteed blizzard.
bustedpiecesrc 04-01-2009, 09:45 PM scott.. ya better knock that off!!! we dont need a blizzard
buglite62 04-01-2009, 09:49 PM thursday is suppose to be ok until late when it suppose to rain into friday afternoon, saturday is suppose to be mostly sunny all day..maybe get some work done sat..... hopefully
I can be there early till 1pm then have to install a shampoo bowl at the salon building at 2, hopefully be back at 4 if all goes well. Or if you get up there mid day I won't miss much. I think it all depends on how much rain we get.
buglite62 04-01-2009, 09:53 PM I just had a duraTrax pop up window open on me. DO some whoppin with a raze truggy.

bustedpiecesrc 04-02-2009, 07:50 PM if it dont rain to much friday i will be out to the track, doing a little work on the canopy and if anyone else comes out my do something to the track if its not to bad of course
buglite62 04-02-2009, 10:23 PM Center of the track still had 2 puddles on it as of tonight. If we get any rain fri they'll probably be there sat too.
buglite62 04-02-2009, 10:24 PM I'm making another trip Sat sometime to drop off 3 more racks.
Apl Hed 04-02-2009, 10:28 PM when is the first race scheduled for?
bustedpiecesrc 04-02-2009, 11:01 PM dont know yet.. havent even been able to do anything with the track.. its all flat and i mean all flat except the back right corner, it still has a lift in it like it was last year
Duke Bradshaw 04-03-2009, 11:21 AM dont know yet.. havent even been able to do anything with the track.. its all flat and i mean all flat except the back right corner, it still has a lift in it like it was last year
What Rob means is the track is smooth not flat. No jumps in it at this point do to the weather putting us back a few days.
Looking like it will be the end of April before the first race.
Duke

Always wants to take our money. I want to see a group of elec 1/8 run without the noise of nitro drowning them out. Probably pretty cool hearing that brushless wind out. I'm still hoping next year I'll have one, and I'll be asking lots of questions.
bustedpiecesrc 04-03-2009, 01:47 PM No scott, dont fall to the dark side...LOL
buglite62 04-03-2009, 06:53 PM No scott, dont fall to the dark side...LOL
Cant be two dark with all those batteries. If they get lost they even can set off a road flare. ha ha I didn't see you working on your tent tonight, it was really windy and I think there was white caps on the puddles. I'm not planning on going up there Sat, unless you want to work on something other than the track, it's sloppy.
sbrady#0 04-03-2009, 07:04 PM you could always use the lipos for light I hear the burn real bright

if it was bad fri i wasnt going out sat, but if its nice fri which it is i will be out sat messing with the canopy.. im thinking of moving it to higher ground.. out of the hole, when it rains it floods a little
bustedpiecesrc 04-03-2009, 09:20 PM i just got back from the track, you can tell where the low spots are, not to bad though, should be able to do something with it tomorrow, move a little dirt there duke, maybe get it to have one low spot where the drain is and we should be good dont ya think
smitymike11 04-03-2009, 11:30 PM If you guy flaten out what is there maybe you should try to do it like a football field, put a nice crown on it and then build the track. That way it might drain better.
bustedpiecesrc 04-03-2009, 11:31 PM thats what im going to get duke to do tomorrow.. after we get it tilled one more time
bustedpiecesrc 04-04-2009, 05:53 PM just got back from the track again today and there was nothing that could be done with the track without making it any worse with the water on the track but cleared some more pitting space where the grills always sit, but other than that no changes to the track
bustedpiecesrc 04-05-2009, 10:02 PM come on everyone hope for better weather so we can get the track done!!!!!
08HPIFirestorm 04-05-2009, 10:36 PM Hey guys, not to bring bad news, but my neighbers garage caught on fire earlier this evening. Thought to be started by a RC battery charger. No one was hurt, but about 90% of everything in there is now destroyed. Keep an eye on your charger!!!! He was lucky enough to have gotten his 1972 gran torino sport out without extensive damage. I was wondering if you could keep this in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks
bustedpiecesrc 04-05-2009, 11:21 PM hate to here it, thoughts out for him and his family
buglite62 04-05-2009, 11:44 PM Never thought of that, I leave them plugged in all the time. Was he charging at the time? Send our thoughts also.
