Let's do it one more time before we head outdoors for the summer. Track has been reconfigured and has made for some of the best Slash racing any of us have seen so far. We had 40 individuals out last time we did this.

So, the details:

Friday, April 17 at 8:00

3 heats and the mains

8 Slashes per heat

Uncalled IFMAR motocross starts for the heats (two rows of 4 with the faster drivers starting in the back row)

Mass motocross start for the mains (again, with the faster drivers in the back)

Trophies for all mains

Pizza and pop provided.

$20 for first class and $10 for second class.

Stock - Only changes allowed are receiver, speed control, servo and 27T or 17.5 brushless in place of the Titan.

Modified - Same as Stock but anything goes as far as motor and Slash specific tires such as the Prolines and the Associateds (if they are out by then)

The new track layout is great fun with slashes. It is a bit more open for easy side by side racing in the corner as well as the jumps.

Glad I still have 12 27t motors. Turnem and burnem ! Then comes the brushless for the outdoor track !

I would like to get a 17.5 but I just dont know if I can give the 10.5 power up yet.

I have an 86 spur and a 29 tooth pinion on a Fantom 17.5 with the 20 degrees of timing dialed in. Runs very cool. I am even thinking about bumping to a 32 pinion.

That track rocks for SLASH I will try to make it there by 7 but maybe a little late maybe John could put me in like the 3rd or 4th heat I will be leaving Kalkaska by like 5 at the latest and have been getting there in like 2 hours usually so if you could do that I will be there and maybe covince Ron Jackson to come as well!!!

Awesome!!! The Slash racing on the new layout has been very competitive. We had a couple of SC10s out today. They will be allowed to run at the Slash Bash in the modified class.

We have 12 4x8 pit tables with power. 48 people if we go 4 to a table. I have more chairs than are at the tables. I have 100 chairs in and around and at least three 4x6 tables that can be set up in addition if we need to.

Shouldn't need to bring anything but yourself and your race equipment.

Not a problem Hank. Yes, many of them are down in the corner under the green tarps at the East end of the track.
