Hay bring a 6-pack over I am having a Tune-up Party at my House today as you can see by my other friends they don't care about my lawn and just park where ever they please and then take over the pool, But it's all cool as long as that I get the ruts fixed in my yard at the end of the day and all the beer can's are picked up.

I bet the asphalt street out in front of the place never needs repaving because of all the rubber being laid down when they all leave!!!! LOL!!!!

Great pics!

I want to come over and hang out!!!

I have quite a few t-jet muscle cars that could use a tune up also!!!!

Keep posting the sweet pics!

Looks like a Saturday night cruiz in!

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I just gotta say, I really admire your work, not just the cars, but also your landscaping, you really do nice work. :wave:

Great diorama & landscaping with the special attention to detail from the Mr. Gasket decal on the rear window of the Firebird to the patch on the barn roof. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: By the way, the cars look good too! Keep the pics, coming. ..RL

Yeah, these dioramas are awesome.

I've been toying with an idea of using a 9" 1/4 turn track piece as the basis of a wall hanging/shelf style diorama. The basic idea is to create a little 3D wall hanging scene of "cars coming around the bend," and scenic it all up on a little shelf sort of thing that I could hang on the wall. The area created by the quarter circle gives you just enough space to do something interesting in 3D on the inside of the turn, rocks, grass, maybe a tunnel entrance, with a nice custom guard rail (I'm thinking wood posts and steel rod or chains for the rail) around the outer periphery, all without sticking out too far.

The motivation is to create some more interesting opportunities for displaying cars, other avenues for exercising scenery making skills, and finding a way to recycle all those 9" turns that I have laying around. I could easily imagine doing the same thing with old, and in some cases broken, straights that I have laying around. Straights don't have the built-in landscaping "volume" that the curves have, but I could easily see creating some drag race staging area scenes or even some taking the green startup, or photo-finish scenes for NASCAR style and dirt racing, with the flag waving race marshal, etc., and the straight track mounted at an angle. I have a picture in my mind about what I'm envisioning.

Nice looking digs! You might want to get out the weedwacker and trim the grass around the pool fence and house. ;) Great set of cars! :thumbsup::thumbsup: rr

You need a miniature lawnmower and a buch of
1/64 Budweiser cans to throw around.

Just say no to Budweasle. It would be better to make miniatures of real beer cans, say something along the lines of Pasbt Blue Ribbon. Of course, scale empty tequila bottles would be even better and there are soooo many good brands!
