I received the 66 Galaxie GM in the mail yesterday and it is well done. The proportions are spot on. :thumbsup: I have a number of Yatming versions and although considerably longer than the Yatmings the entire car looks great. Roof height, windshield, tailights, Galaxie 500XL trim on the rear quarters and the lacation of the fuel filler door are exact. The seat patterns look very close to the ones on my 1:1. It almost makes me want to paint my 1:1 to match the GM instead of the factory Ivy green it currently is. The only negative criticism is the grille. That is the grille from the 500 not the XL, LTD, 7 Litre version.:confused:

My standard version will be arriving over Easter when my personal shopper comes for a visit. :p I am certain it will look terrific with all the other Galaxies in the collection. I hope the yet-to-be-released version is the proper 1966 Ford yellow, paint code 1955-A, :thumbsup:and not some screaming school bus chrome yellow.

As soon as the weather breaks and the 1:1 comes out of hibernation I will post some pictures of the two for comparisons.

There's always the GM of the new yellow one when it comes out or the 65 Convert GM or the model of the 41 Plymouth I saw on the net or or or....never a lack of little ones to give me.:)
