I heard rumors of a new hyperdrive car any one have pics or info?

The car is still in the development stage,there are a couple out there for testing.It is wicked!

pepe there are a few cars floating around. eric anderson has been runing one for awhile with great results. the revised cars were shipped out last friday, minor changes to the rear pod, battery tray, and front end placement. i haven't run the newer car yet but the first prototype run better then the old cars, imo. if you have any other questions i'll try to answer them.

One of the new Hyperdrive cars was sitting on my desk yesterday.It is a sweet looking car with MAYBE a few more minor changes.Barry brought it up for me to look at.By the way Hyperdrive is the owner of a race trailer with a/c.Barry and Eric will keep cool now.....:devil:

Will it be ready for the roar oval nationals at MSA in October?

i talk to barry friday. he said cars were heading out to the team drivers, this week to get there input. if there aren't any changes to be made they will start shipping.i would guesss one month but it is only a guess.

The way I understand it it will not be ready for the nats. but it is subject to change. I have seen the car and it is SWEET!!!

Well the new car debut at Classic hobbies in Akron Ohio this past weekend and i got a chance to see it and race against it, 1 word
AWESOME! First time on the track it took home the win. Good job Ricky Liehr, and to end this note 2nd was a 510bt standard and third a 510bt short car HYPERDRIVE WITH THE CLEAN SWEEP!

The latest version and probably production version of the car ran very well last night in 4 cell stock at MSA Home of the 2002 ROAR Paved Oval Nats. Tied the track record 42 4.00.54. Its a record thats been very hard to break/tie. Should have been a 43 lap run but the driver lost his mind for a coulpe of laps!! I hope the Oval market is ready for the most adjustable car on the market....because its coming soon to a track near you!!

Saw the New Hyper drive car this weekend at the roar reg 5 paved oval champs at the Tri-Clone in West Bend wis. All I can say is "fast fast fast"

Ok guys...Some info you've been waiting for. The scheduled release date for the cars (if all goes well with the instruction manual and packaging) will be two weeks from this friday...That would be Sept. 20th.

Pics will be up in about a week. To hold you over till then here are a few details about the car.

5 wheelbase's to adjust with along with width adjustments in the front end, 6 shock locations on each side, 3 locations for the shock mount. The new HD (yet to be named) will also have a unique battery tray system that will be seen in the pics. Lots of adjustment on the battery tray.

The car has went through alot of changes from the original. Its been a long wait but it is well worth it. Mike Valentine (rocketkiller) has done an outstanding job drawing the car up and coming up with some new ideas. And Barry and Joe at Hyperdrive have put in long hours to get all the design changes put into kits for the factory drivers to test and get as close to perfect as possible for the public release.

Start saving your money guys.....Its coming to a track near you!!

Whats this machine going to cost me? hopefully no more than $200, but you rc manufacturers are money hogs, so i expect anything.

Maverick Racing hd will be offering a conversion kit also. so if you have another hd car 510 or 500 it will be easy to switch over. i only know of the company asc that sells a oval car for less then $200. but at $160 for the car then $75 for the new chassis your still over $200. everyone else that i know of sells cars for more then $200. not using that as way there over 2 but, no one else does the quanity asc does. there make a killing on spare parts that hd, racetech, adx, leading edge, kgb cars all use. thats why there car is under 2. have fun and buy what you want to, no one is forcing you to even buy a new car.:roll:

I want the new car....after i see pics....i just dont want to pay $400 for a 1/10th scale car.

Well guys the cars are in production. Only thing we are waiting on are the instruction manuals. They should be here in the next couple of days. I would post pics of my car but its one of the early production ones and there are some changes to the production cars. If I can talk Barry into building one to take pics of.

The offical name of the car is the Hyperdrive 700 EASE.

Hey guys, I saw one of the new hyperdrives this weekend at my local track in Hamilton. Nice looking car, but what else did you expect. Wheelbase can be made extremely short. Infinite number of adjustments can be made- shocks , pod , t-bar. Both sides of front end slide in and out. You name it, it can be adjusted. Battery tray reminds you of an associated or kgb, slides forward and backward, except one cell can be moved really close to the left rear. Excellent looking car, i'm sure i'll have one!

Is there a round about price on what the car cost? Just wondering.

Retail is the same as the 510. Which is 429.95 So the car should see in the shops for around 250ish or so.

This car kinda sound's like it ressembles the Assassin!I can't wait to see it though i have $250.00 burning a hole in my pocket!I'm gonna either get this car or the Assassin(if i can wait long enough for the new Hyperdrive car)Either way i can't wait for pics!
