Got to see the new HD PRO3 at Little Talladega this past weekend, they have given this car a total overhaul from any HD car in the past.

Gotta give the HD guys some credit for showing up on such a cold windy wet day, for the first time ever at Little Talladega with the new HD PRO3 car to put it to the test, it was nice to meet Barry & Eric, I will leave any comments on how the testing went to the guys that were running the cars. I think people are going to like the new design, it looks nothing like the pics of the PRO3 prototype car on page 89 of this thread, this is a totally new piece.

Is the pro 3 a solid or slider chasis?

Mike V. said in an earlier post that there would be a slider and solid PRO3 released at the same time, don't know the release date as of now.

The car ran very well in York Maine this past weekend, taking home the win in 4 cell 19 turn. There are some small changes being made to the car, right after that it should be released. I would think in mid to late may, but thats from me not Barry.

Thanks for the update Mike, you weren't kidding about the face lift in one of your earlier post, the new PRO3 design is totally different from any HD car in the past. I know Barry was putting it to the test at Little Talladega, this past weekend.

I hear test didn't go so well, but that could be the rust of the drivers and not the new car.

DJ_Skribble not sure where you got your info. But I ran last weekend in York Maine, qualified second and won. Barry and Eric went to Henderson, outdoor concrete track. They did vary well considering a track temp @ around 50 degrees, which made for a very slippery track. They were still running respecable times, just not consistant with the track conditions.

well guess i will be up to test pro 2 shorty again 0n the 14th so far fastest red car at rush and son henderson in 19t this year and i ran when track temp was 45 degrees with cracked chassis

I was there when Barry & EA were testing the new HD PRO3 car at Little Talladega and I think they put in quite an effort considering tornado sirens were going off and with the cold windy rainy conditions and cold track surface, not to mention that was the first time they had ever seen the track and on top of all that, trying out a brand new designed car. I don't think it can be said that it was not a good test, like all new cars and new tracks it takes time to get dialed in and in the groove. It's good to see that they are willing to go the extra mile to show up in bad weather conditions to try and test the car, any laps are good laps when your trying to develope a new car, I think it says alot about Hyperdrive to put in such an effort to test their cars to make them as good as they can.

If I were testing a car and I came up slower than the norm, even though I learned what changes I need to make, I would still say the test went poorly, because I didn't run track speed that I was hoping for.

And if you also notice in my posts, I also said "could be the drivers and not the car"............that I gathered when I spoke to Eric Anderson on his way back from the track.

I've seen pics of the car, it should run as good as the others. Most of the cars out these days all resemble one another.

I just recently got back into it and It took a while to get around the track again, I hadn't raced since the early 90's at the indoor track at Performance hobbies in Decatur, I could run up front then, but so far I aint to fast compared to the other Bama boys.

Hello Hyperdive nation. I was wondering if anyone running a Hyperdrive car was planning on a road trip to attend the Delaware Paved Oval Championship racing in June? I had at least - 3 - Bolinks in the late 80's and early 90's -- A wide Eliminator Gold Edition, a couple of narrow LTO's (with the "aluma-lite-always-bent" pod), and a LTO PRO.

Yeah.. those were the good ol' days :-)

I got to take a look at the Pro 3 this evening. Looks like a great car. Humpty Helms represented the car well with a win in 19t tonight at Coopers. For a new racer like myself all the adjustments seem intemidating but if you look at all the other new car designs they are all like this, just a bit more tuning options. I like the new design and I wish I would have waited for this car to come out but I had to have a red car to run couldnt wait.

Humpty had the new version car with the cross brace and all. The Car is sweet. I think the next big race is the VA ARCOR State race at Coopers then they will also have the ARCOR Nats in Sept.

BRDRACING the topplate, shock mounts, body post brace, and aluminum brace were all changed after a few of us ran the car, was just wondering if he had the new pieces. you wouldn't be able to tell them apart from the older parts unless you had both in your hands. thanks for the race dates, i'll try to make them.

wowracer1 i won't be making the norrca nats, my son's 1st birthday is the 26 and his party is saturday the 28. would have liked to, but just the wrong weekend for me. IT'S HYPERDRIVE, LOL

Hey Mike, the ARCOR Spec Nats are at BMS on July 4th weekend, The DR Findley Memorial Race at MSA is August 13th, and the ROAR Paved Nats at BMS on Oct. 2 weekend.....there are also a couple of State races at BMS and a NC State Race at C&W (not sure on all the dates).

TQ' the paved nats 19t last year ect ect.. i can say he should be fast dowbnt there... his car has been working well up here in wisconsin...
