just watch cutting away the front portion of the chassis like that.

It could take the rigidity out of the chassis. Then instead of your suspension working, the chassis will be flexing. Looks cool though.

Yeah I know about the front, but I used .110 carbon fiber so its still pretty stiff.I had cut it up to keep the wieght down..Thanks for the comments.Jeff

Does anyone have a part number and where to get the cut down lower A-arms used on the 1/12 scale cars? How much are they cut or lowered? I would like them so I can run my tires a little smaller without running the chassis too low.
Thanks

OLDNO7 not sure who will be attending the NORRCA nats for HD but i would bet they will be running the PRO3.

HOPEFULLY mine will be here in time to build for this weekend. Barry get to work on that aluminum.

When i talk to Barry i'll see if he wants to release some cad images of the car.

I'm not sure about Norcca rules but doesn't a sanctioned race require that the car be available to the public.

DJ_Skribble
04-18-2005, 05:58 PM
Only if you want to run it in stock class. It's legal in 19T and Mod I do believe.

GE.1 PRODUCT USE: Paved Oval and Road Course bodies, all tires, all motors, all batteries, and all car kits will not be allowed at State, Divisional or National events unless the product has been commercially available to the general public 30 days prior to the event

This applies to all classes I do believe.

What does Paved Oval have to do with Carpet Oval? Nothing!

Being that the Norcca paved oval nats are in May it seems to have everything to do with it!

NORRCA made and exeption to adx when they had only 4-5 protos for the 04 nats race..I belive they asked permission..... and roar only enforces the prototype rule in stock class.. other classes are open. this is in the book... this is what norrca went to as well i think..

OK Eric and Barry, post some remarks about your test at Rush and Son with the "new" red car..........

If it was as chilly as it was here in N. Alabama, test would have been rough.
