smokey, the team kits will come with the new center shock as soon as I get them. You can tell if the kit has a CRC shock in it by the retail price on the kit; with CRC shock 559.95; with associated VCS shock 549.95.

The clicker shock will not be red. The team kits comes with the std bottom plate and both rear steer bottom plates.

The team kits with clicker shocks will be available as soon as I get them.
I have been trying to get them for about 3-4 weeks. I was told last week they would ship last friday and monday when I called to check, I was told it would be this friday. At this point, your guess is as good as mine.LOL!!

I will post on here when I get them.

Thanks. I also had a question that I saw on another thread agout front ends thar never got answered what does putting shims under or on top of the front spindles. thanks in advance

LITTLEAL 1 putting shims under the steering block will make small ride height adjustments, just make sure while doing this you don't over preload the springs take a shim from some where else just don't keep adding more. adding shims to the top of the steering block changes chamber gain.

Anyone know of any good pics of team car o700. Hyperdrve site is all messed up. Tossing between this and KSG have handled the KSG not the hyperdrive.

Hyperdrive wins The Mississippi state oval championship at SCU in Jackson, Ms. It wasn't the new car, just a old fast 510BT... I didn't see any reason to be any faster! The track is 379ft tri-oval, high banked super fast track....best lap was 6.196 sec @ over 40 mph in 19 turn 4 cell! I ran 2 38 lap runs in practice, but couldn't get a clean run in qual.....I ran a 36/4:02 for TQ in 19 turn class....Won the A-main with a 36/4:03........Thanks to the great cars from Hyperdrive!!!!!

What holes is everybody running their rear pods in offset to the left or just the stright pod,, what about the rear steer plates witch one is everybody havin good luck with on the carpet tracks..

Hyperdrive Man the offset standard pod thing, you will never get all of us to agree, we just agree to disagree. you can be fast either way. i myself have never found a track where the offset pod was faster, easier to drive yes but not faster. the rear steer is easier any place where you actual drive straight down the straightaway don't use rear steer, any other place i would run some. try the 1/4 degree first, then go from there.

Anyone running them yet on the 700 and what are good starting points, oil, spring, piston if they have different ones, clicker setting. Using 50wt and a #3 piston now on short flat tracks.

OK guys, I have a product update.

we have 2 new items for the velodrome:

1) a narrow battery tray for the 0700 part number BT-7045 retail 26.99

2) a narrow 0500 sse pro chassis, this is the old style pod not the 0700 pod part number VC-0001 retail 83.99

3) we have the CRC shocks finally.

4) the SSE PRO 2 team kits are available, but we do not have boxcovers or manuals. we are waiting on some cars from a magazine shoot to do the boxcover.

just wanted to give a shout to Mike V. this is Scott Johnson, thanks for the help over the phone a few months back. that info helped me TQ at the nats in stock over the weekend. if it wasnt for radio hits Sunday, may well have won. Love my 0700, and looking forward to running it w/ caps this summer:)

rcavenger your welcome, any time. i just wish i could have been out there to met you, and a few others that i only get to talk to on the phone or just on this board. great job on the tq, sorry to hear about the radio problems, thats the worse thing that can happen imo. all other things (wrenchs) we have some control over,but not that. are you still running the slider or did youupgrade to the one piece chassis. just wondering. i'm still using the slider. mike

slider, 6 cell tray, all elec on the front and left of the tray. after switching back to the med front holes, short rear, the car was awesome. had TQ by about a half lap. Yeah, no sign of radio glitches all weekend til the 2nd A-main, then every time i went by the drivers stand it took a hard left. switched channels and took it out for a few laps after the 2nd main, ran fine. was leading the 3rd main when it took another hit 1 min from the end, so i pulled over to let Dusty Kemp go ahead, last thing i wanted to do was glitch in front of him and mess up his nat'l championship run. I will be at the Snowbirds, so i will see u there, if not sooner, Mike....

rcavenger what other larger races will you be attending before snowbirds. any of the paved oval nats or other stuff.

Mike, probably no other large races. might try to hit the Velodrome in Indy for their big race. only have 5 days of vacation left, and my girlfriend is 'reserving' those...LOL. going to race some close to home (Storm Steel - banked asphalt oval). on a side note...any other new upgrades in the works for the hyperdrive rides? i have some ideas, simple, but pretty trick, especially for carpet.

i know how you feel about vacation days. have a good time at the velo. never ran one but hear great stories of how fun they can be until you flip it over. what tires did you wind up runnin?

not sure yet, but does BSR make a 'hard as bricks' compound? LOL. i know about the flipping. guys choose wayyyy too hard on the front springs, that tends to make the car catch air in the front. any new ideas in the works, Mike?

Hey barry or mike,, i took apart my rear diff to clean it and i took it a part in a hurry then had to leave so know im stuck with a diff all apart and dont know how to assemble the 2 spacers by the diff nut witch one goes first and second??. Also mike what are you running for rear springs on flat carpet tracks and slightly banked tracks?? And what about electronics mount them all to the left??

BILL A thanks for the offer, we do plan to attend the race. hopefully i have a better showing then the last couple times i was there. do you know if there will be a mod class this year, also what will be the 19 turn rules arcor only or any 19 turn. glad to see your picking up a 0700. i'll give you a call.

rcavenger i got a few little things.

Hyperdrive Man the aluminum one goes on first small part to the bearing, then the orange one cone part towards the bearing, then nut. rear springs really dependent on how wide the turns are. wider the infield the stiffer the spring red or golds small infield silver or blues or a combonation of them. same thing goes for banked tracks. the heavier the spring the slower the car will react and seems to keep the car flatten in the turns.

i ran the middle wheelbase holes up front. in the rear, there are 2 sets of holes for the T-plate, spaced appr. .1875" apart. i ran the T-bar in the shortest position, T-bar furthest toward the front of the car...leaves the wheelbase appr. 10"

how 'bout giving us all a baseline setup for the 0700 w/ caps, since the outdoor tracks are starting to open? i was thinking centered pod, 4 cell tray, slid forward so the extreme rear of the tray is flush w/ the back of the chassis, centered up on the front widths to start. reciever pack placed where the 5th cell slot is (forwardmost slot), speedo to the right of the T-bar, towards the rear. i always seem to forget what a good starting ride height is w/ caps, so any suggestions there would be appreciated, along w. a good starting caster angle for caps.
