View Full Version : New stuff on the pit trailer

Been working on this all week when the weather has let me.

This was taken the other day, got it all finished tonight. I have not had a chance to get new pics of the final look but you get the idea.

The left panel is stationary, the middle panel is the main door to entry and exit while racing and to allow for loading and unloading the right panel is also hinged. The middle and right panel are hinged opposite so they can fold into one another and not take up too much room.

Nice, is it a kit or did you build it all yourself?

It is actually doors from an old elevator controller. They are made from aluminum channel with the tinted plexi-glass in them.

I had been looking around for stuff to make this out of and then Jason came across these on a modernization. Now that I know how well they will work out I will keep an eye out for more of them.

I added the door pull on both sides, the passage for the door cable and the Team Coyote decal.

Now I am ready to go RACING!!!!

I have learned that from running against the "Blue Crew".
