A Joe Myers Event

This past Sunday we had a great turnout at the Steve Garvey Jr. High School Gym in Lindsay CA for our FIRST Carpet race of the year.
55 Entries were registered for this SUNDAY event and all went well.
Gary Hamilton and Joe Blackburn were able to arrive in town on Saturday, and helped roll out and setup the carpet, and the track was perfect.
With the busy scheduling at the McDermont center, this may become our permanant home for Central Calif. carpet racing.
Along with our usual suspects, we had the pleasure of having some of the central valleys On-Road racers join us, running Touring Cars at their first Oval Race. These guys did a great job and appeared to have a lot of fun racing with us, and they were treated to some incredible Oval Pan Car Racing.

The ALLSTAR SHOOTOUT - is now just a month away. According to a message posted on our web board ( www.southwesttour.com/ovaltalk (http://www.southwesttour.com/ovaltalk) ) it looks like we'll have at least a couple of our friends from JAPAN again returning for this event.
I've got committments from several companies for prizes so far, and I should be placing T-Shirt orders around FRIDAY of this week, or by April 3rd at the latest.
Reminder to get your requested sizes to me early, so I don't run out of YOUR size.
Pre-Sale T-SHIRTS will be $15.00 and $20.00 at the track.
