Presently I have a 1/43 Artin track downstairs in my basement. I wanted to use most of the Tyco HO track that I had collecting dust. So I am embarking on the task of setting up a mid size rally track loosely based on the Dakar Rally type theme. When I found my track, I was disappointed to find that the two US 1 Electric Trucking trucks that I had, the bodies were damaged beyond repair, so with an idea in my head, I cut the rear pickups off each, took out the reversing pins, and found a Hot Wheels Humvee, and a Subaru Impreza in my collection of cars, took the chassis's off of each and found that they are a perfect fit over the truck chassis. Little bit of paint and you'd never know they were Hot Wheels. I'll take some pics of them as soon as my batteries get charged and am able to get my digital camera full of juice. I am finding real enjoyment in HO scale slot cars as I am with my 1/43 track. Love the small motors but big drifting!!!!

I'm with ya Ed! I originally started out in 1/32 and bought the 1/32 track and plenty of cars. My 1/32 car collection has dwindled a bit, but I rekindled the flame of HO from back when I was a kid. After building up my HO, I stumbled upon the 1/43 cars and realized I could run them on my 1/32 track I still had! So now I've got 1/32, 1/43, and HO...but I predominantly use HO and 1/43 today.

Definitely post up some pics so we can see both the 1/43 and HO gear!
