Like will said not a big deal just burn the plug light brown and it will be good. The temp sender i bought is a waste of money to me. LetsRace 03-23-2009, 10:45 AM Good info still . i always wondered what the temp was at running condition. Clemenade 03-23-2009, 09:22 PM i was pushing 300 degress on saturday and the car was smoking (not from exhaust) i think cause the motor was full of leaves from going off the track. Oh Yea, if you go off roading and trip down through the grass and leaves the engine head will need to be cleaned out! That vacumn cleaner call a crank air intake will suck up as much grass as you can give it, stay out of the grass or break out the air compressor and blow the head out. The head will get very hot and ruin that $10.00 plug. Just thank goodness it's not summer. WRP 03-24-2009, 09:42 AM Most Motors will run in the 200 to 275 Range will not problem. 300 is ok as long as you don't see smoke coming out of the exhuast outlet after the motor is shut down. Plug color should be a nice light brown. Use a test plug (new plug) and run 5 to 10 hard laps and then shut down quickly, don't let it idle to long or you will get a false reading, check for color. Check for dingle bearies on the plug tip. If you see that then the head got to hot. Mike www.willmannracingproducts.com vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
