I go to remove the carb off my tiller (5HP Briggs horizontal shaft) and the two screws are so close to the carb that I can not get a socket or closed end wrench around it. The screws have 2 slots (like a plus sign) so I stick my screw driver in there sideways and I turn it 1/4 turn at a time. JEEZZ!!!! There has got to be a faster / easier way to remove the carb. Please advise.

Briggs did/does have a tool for removing these screws but it worked in the same way as a sideways screwdriver, Quarter turn at a time. Just sit back with a drink and turn....
