I found a 442 black and gold chase today bu tthe hood is just floating in the package. Should I rip it and put the hood back on or trade it the way it is or try to sell it. I am not much for the card board/plastic so if I keep it she is going to get RRRRRIIIIIIPPPPPED.

Yep, rip it open. An error like that will dramatically decrease the value, so it probably wouldn't be worth selling. Open it, pop the hood back and enjoy the car. :)
