Nice catch Dock, I can't hit that place as much as I'd like to. You see the new SPEED channel stuff anywhere?

In fact, if you find ANY numbered 22 or less buy them, someone will want them BAD!

I found the Z06 #0001 a few weeks ago. I picked it up because I thought there might be great interest in it from those that collect them. Long story short, I still had it after three weeks, even after I offered it up for cost plus shipping. When no takers, I put it up on the Bay. It sold for $61 last night! LOL!!

Sadly, this seems to be the way things have been going lately on the various hobby boards. You offer good pieces for trade that you're sure other collectors will want, but get no takers (or receive "innocent" low ball offers). Then, heading to eBay as a last resort, you find that people end up paying more than you would have expected in trade .
I've found myself compelled to do this more and more lately when I'm not able to trade higher-end cars on the hobby boards. I'd greatly prefer to trade than sell, but have found it much easier to simply take the cash I get from the sale and buy the cars I need (if I can find them online) -- often for a fraction of the "value" that certain characters on the boards are asking for their "gold." It's too bad it has to work this way.

I agree with your thoughts. It's kind of pushed me away from the hobby a bit. There are still a small handful here on Hobbytalk however that still believe in the hobby. Dealing with those folks help keep the flame lit.
