View Full Version : ~ Tow Truck ~ Update ~ Got It Today and is already 95% Done TJETDRAGRACER 03-21-2009, 02:15 AM I got the tow truck today, and worked on it for a few hour's. ~ Before and After pics ~ A new chassis & A Little paint. ~ The Larry Mobile, I mean the Tom Mobile ~ LOL Bill Hall 03-21-2009, 11:32 PM Pic 5, Interesting way to store the guide pin when not in use. resinmonger 03-22-2009, 03:30 AM You have an eye for detail, Bob. A couple of guys have shipped cars to me with the guide pin installed upside down. Keeps them from getting bent or broken in shipment. It would be a good way to store cars on the shelf too. :drunk::hat::freak::dude: slotcarman12078 03-22-2009, 11:23 AM Our own win43 does that with cars I got from him. Agreed it protects the pin... and anything else in the box. bobhch 03-22-2009, 01:09 PM Looks like you had some fun with this one... Bob...keep on towing...zilla TJETDRAGRACER 03-22-2009, 03:05 PM I may add some duel tire's and rim's like on the Aurora Fire trucks to the back. Seen some on RRR site , Two Set's of Chrome Duelys in the rear would look pretty cool I think. And a single wide chrome truck rim's for the front. ~ As for the guild pin upside down I do this on all my long wheel base car's, the short wheel base car's I have to cut off the pin because the axle is in the way. ~ I could see by my pics of the Tow Truck that I missed a few spots paint wise, oops I guess the camera doesn't lie. LOL win43 03-22-2009, 07:29 PM Pic 5, Interesting way to store the guide pin when not in use. Isn't that why the hole in there in the first place?? :freak: Cool looking truck :thumbsup: Bill Hall 03-23-2009, 12:57 AM Thought it was there for reversed guides like the early Cobra???
