View Full Version : New Brass car from Slottech neorules 03-19-2009, 09:30 PM Check it out:http://slottech.net/T2JET.aspx 1976Cordoba 03-19-2009, 10:08 PM Spendy. TomH 03-19-2009, 10:18 PM Twice as fast as a superstock and you can't even see a freakin superstock. I'd splatter that little bugger all over my wall.:) neorules 03-19-2009, 10:56 PM I think it says a superstock is twice as fast. resinmonger 03-19-2009, 11:17 PM I think it says a superstock is twice as fast. "Lap times are approximately twice that of a SuperStock car." That would say the car is about half the speed of the superstock as noted by neorules. Nice looking car. Dyno Dom 03-19-2009, 11:21 PM Nice Car! Twice the lap times of an SS would make it 1/2 as fast! :) TomH 03-19-2009, 11:22 PM OK. sorry bout that, my bad. Read it wrong. Montoya1 03-20-2009, 06:55 AM Is the arm the same as the T2 one? If so, looks like you can buy a kit and convert an SS without too much spendy. noddaz 03-20-2009, 07:02 AM I guess an escalation in racing is inevitable... AfxToo 03-20-2009, 07:12 AM You tease. When I saw the post title, my Riggen vs. Dynabrute inspired heart started racing! Imagine what Slottech would do with a modern day Brass Car, the sky is the limit with the available technology. But alas, pull back the curtain on door number 3 and ... whah ... whah ... whah ... there's the donkey again. Doh, it's just another flavor brass slugs in the traction magnet pockets car. I have nothing against this form of racing or car, but oh, what I was hoping for based on the title of the post...!!! Montoya1 03-20-2009, 07:15 AM :) I can picture that AFXToo. AfxToo 03-20-2009, 07:19 AM For those of you who may not understand the donkey analogy: http://www.stat.sc.edu/~west/javahtml/LetsMakeaDeal.html tjettim 03-20-2009, 09:40 AM A brass chassis class would be interesting but expensive. Scratch building, cnc'd chassis etc.Tony would probably sell more T2 brass cars though, hopefully turning a profit. Having parts made for these little cars is not cheap. The small companies do this out of a labor of love for the hobby. None of them are getting rich off of us. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
