131 North to exit cedar springs turn right(east) onto 17 mile
drive into lovely cedar springs and turn left(north) onto main street or also called northland Dr.
drive through cedar springs and continue for about 3-4miles?
Turn right on Ritchie St. and it will be on your left hand side 3rd drive way, turn left.

IF you go to far on Northland you will be in Sandlake, turn around......

Ok so here is the official thread for a new track in Sand Lake. The track is located just north of Cedar Springs and south of Sand Lake on Ritchie street which is just off Northland Drive. It's a larger layout than most local tracks. All classes of cars or trucks are welcome with the largest class being 1/8 scale buggies. But it accomodates 1/10 scale with ease. Currently there is no AMB system........yet.........but in the plans. The track is loamy dirt. Come check it out as we will be running this Sunday 3-22-09. Stay posted as we will figure out the normal summer days it will be open to the public. This track will be in conjunction with my track and one other one that is currently being built as we speak. All within 10 minutes of each other. The core group of guys we run with have ideas for some fun racing this year (Pig roast, Northern series, etc..) Our goal is to add the AMB by this year so if anyone has any good leads let us know. Roman is kind enough to let us run on his property so come check it out. We all hope to meet some newer faces, Scott

Yeah, bring what you want, more or less this is just a bunch of guys rippin there toys. If we aquire a AMB then we will hold regular events. The track owner has a MT. Show up for a good time. Scott

Truggys,muggys and a (5th scale). Not sure but it,s big and has a chainsaw motor in it. My son cried and wanted to leave when ever it ran. It shakes the earth. I,m sure sombody know what it is. HPI b5?

Fun time even if I did miss "HondaStunt_boy's" infamous crash, don't worry, if you race with Unc E long enough, you'll see some great crashes although Marty is looking pretty good, can't believe nothings broke on that yet.

Great job on the track guys, only thing bad yesterday was the wind but nothing two beers didn't cure.

I also missed stuntboys crash. I do remember hearing a loud smash though. Must of been a bunch of peeps there. Driver stand was full a few times.

Yeah, Scott I know I need to make it out there. I've been pretty busy with the Family and it sucks that I can find the time. I'm working on that so I should be freeing up here pretty quick. Anyone that can't run this weekend due to high water come over to Romans and run his sweet layout. Standing water is not an issue there. Sounds like we will be running around noonish. Will probably do some track maintenance first. No need for an invitation just come over. Bring whatever car or truck you have. This is always a great time.

Been out working on the track, it's soft and workable. Going to smooth it out and pack it down. Track should be fast and 1/10 friendly! :thumbsup:
