Indy Slots has an outdoor off road track and has posted the rules for the Slash class in the store.

The owner has been working on getting permits for an indoor off road dirt track for a while.

Yeah thats been in the works ,but i was talking about the outdoor track, which i did call and talk with doug tonight and the track is almost ready, they will be working on it tomorrow and it will be ready for this saturday, and if enough slash trucks show up they might race, and doug says for sure there will be practice.
So this is great news,So anyone out there has slash trucks and want to race, Indy slots will be ready to go.ill be there after this weekend, because hendricks county still has this last weekend of running, and after this weekend their closed for the season.

There will be another rc track in Indy for the summer, electric only too.

Perhaps you should start another thread about it instead of going off topic and discussing it in the Indy Slots thread.

I don't have one, I had one and loved it though. We were racing them box-stock with NiMH last Summer at Slots and it was awesome. They opened the rules up to allow LiPos this season and now the Slash is top of my list for my next purchase (tax returns!!!)

I got one! Cant wait to race it.

You will love it. But get ready to learn how to drift around those corners if you want to beat Houston. Those stock tires are like the full-sized versions, lots of drifting in the turns.

I really do hope they work on the track and provide a place to race. Central IN needs tracks.

The better it is promoted (mostly by positive word-of-mouth from people like us) the better it will be.

I hear ya about the traction! I had it on my buddys track yesterday to test out and it did pretty good. Seems reasonably predictable. I already painted a new body for it too! We can run bodys other than the traxxas unit, right? It was made for a slash, so i dont see a problem with it.

Off Road Racing at Indy Slots!!!

The Slash class will be taking off this coming Saturday around 1pm

Other classes guys have talked about are 4wd Buggys and 19t 2S LiPo RWD Trucks.

I'd like to see a Stadium Truck 27t 6-cell NiMH stock class run as well.

And on Monday nights soon they'll be running the Dirt Oval out back!!!

Let's Race!!!

I assume by 19t trucks you mean superstock trucks, right? Meaning 19t and 13.5 brushless?

BTW: I should be there with my slash! Should be a great time.

Yeah, I think they meant 13.5 or 19t brushless. Super-stock trucks!

I will be at Indy Slots tonight to try and sell my 1/10 slider. It will be RTR so if you want to buy a slider and run tonight you could. I will also have my Tamiya TT-01 with me, it is also for sale. It is set up as a drift car right now but it would make a good entry level car for VTA
