I usually go to the slots but wanted to know if anyone had a BB gun thought. Yesterday was nice so I took apart my grandpa's old 1975 crosman 766 to the bare bones and finaly figured out the reason why it wouldn't pump up but only push air out of the barrel. It was a 12 cent (penny for all others) fix. If you need to know more I can help but it may not make the previous 700 fps (feet per second) speed it is now very functional and I would not like to have a .177 BB poked at me from this rifle. My new pistols are near 430 fps and sound like a .22. This old gun is clean and I have picked off many a starling annoying the neighbors. Let me know if I can give any advice. I really enjoy old bb guns and I love to research the stuff if available. Zing Zing David

I have some, but the more expensive ones are silly in my opinion, because you can just buy a real one.

Hey JasonZ, Yeah there are some outrageous priced guns out there. All of mine are under $40 and the pistols will zing'em out at over 400 fps. My rifle is my strongest one and is the oldest one that I put the oring in. I know as it burried the pellet the deepest into a phone book during a little testing in my basement firing range. I need to get it outside as it used to plink over a hundred yards. If splashing a duck across a lake counts. I knew someone out there had a BB gun. David
