I'm holding down the esc program button then trunning on the power to the esc, transmitter is already on. The red light comes up, i release the program button and pull in the throttle, but the light never goes green.. just stays red, is there any tricks, or once again i'm i just missing something, tnks again

Is the transmitter the same brand as the old one? - Its just possible that it doesn't need to be reprogrammed.

Did you put Futuba in reverse setting on transmitter, for some reason, futuba's have to be reversed.[Reverse setting on transmitter} Make sure all polaritys are correct also.

Also, make sure the receiver is compatible with Futaba and that the crystals are both Futaba.

Yes I put the Futaba in reverse setting, is it possible to mess up the recievers..Now both Radios aren't working. I even put the Futaba back on the old car with a esc that doesn't need programming and the throttle doesn't work..How easy or hard is it to break the recievers both radio are working the steering but neither are working the throttle. Please help, tnks again

I have the plug frome the esc going to the battery and the one from the front servo to the channel 1 the channel plug only goes in one way and the power /esc colors are in the same order as the channel plug. I believe this is right but i'm new to this whole thing. tnks

the one for the esc does not go to battery you need to get your book out for the radio it should tell you which is which and most of the time the reciever is marked with batt, str for steering and thr for speed control or throttle. i would say this is your problem. the one marked batt is for if you run a reciever pack.

All servo slots are marked 1, 2, 3 , and or bat. Slot 1 is always steering. Slot 2 is for your ESC. Hope that helps a little.
