I think the lack of focus makes it "artsy" rather than "pornographic."

Movie Trailer.

Very cool. Great lighting FX. And, dang, that's the old Aurora/Monogram kit!

Nice effects but a little overpowering....I was waiting for John Travolta to step out on the floor...

Did you bend the acrylic rods for the engine exhaust yourself, or did you use a pair of those things they make to inspect gun barrels?

straight acrylic heated over an open flame (stove). It ignites pretty easily.

Did you ever see VTTBOTS? But I agree, disco club for 2 is what I was hoping to achieve. The fact that none of the lights actually means anything makes it all the more meaningful!

If it's Flying Sub porn you want, here's one that somebody made for Microsoft's Flight Simulator...

I almost passed out when I saw it!
(and remember: the Flying Sub's schematics (http://www.nimr.org/flysub.html) include landing gear!)

Watchit bub; this here's a family board. :dude:

I saw that when I was looking at other FS videos. hubba hubba!

Pendercraft's name came up again; Ron Gross who did the Moebius' box art used their view of the FS to get the interior "right." link (http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?p=2714772#post2714772)

Sorry for a very late reply, but I thought I would point out a surprising fact.

With all the pendercrafts videos I have done over the years, this particular FS video on this thread is the second most viewed next to bill hedges LIS 3 part "the voyage home", yet the FS model itself does not have too many downloads for flight simulator.

To me, this suggests that the flying sub is the second most popular vehicle after the Jupiter-2. As a kid growing up with these shows thats how I ranked them LOL.

I always liked the look of the LOTG Spindrift. It's probably not popular because it flew once. ONCE:jest:
