THat is a nice car. I wonder why Kyosho didn't make their diecast a version of the #15 car which won at Le Mans.

I'd like to find some of those 3.5CSLs as well as the LMRs.

Your dead on according to my books here. (Opps, sorry, the driver was NOT seriously injured!) Your #17 did manage 304 laps to the winning 365 of the #15, so the thing was screaming! It was however posted as the 24th place finisher.
The V12 LMR was new for '99 and really showed BMW's commitment! Not only did it sit on the poll, but both cars were up front until the #17's accident. This car (your’s) was chassis #001, but due to the wreck, it was never raced again, just to much damage.
So cool history, on a great car and a AMAZING DIE-CAST! I have GOT to get me these two cars!!

the V12 LMR is one of the best looking modern LMP Prototypes!
I love those racing bimmers.
Great catch!

I got both of the V12 LMRs a couple of years ago. The 3.5 CSL I got, cost a pretty penny on the bay, it probably is one of the highest prices I ever paid for a diecast car.
