i had a good time out at the track today,, pancars are starting to come around good, the touring oval latemodels are doin fine also. it just was a great day of test and tune, and bench racing with keith Roberson , Racer tim halpin, Mitch , Keith Douglas and a former waycross gang member Phillip Owen. Phillip was on hand telling us about the mcpappy ride, daytona, give some tips out to some racers, and even piloted a 4wd touring latemodel bloomquist car in a great hot lap run,, with a smile he said they are fun. hope things keep gettin better and keep slowly grown.

hey big don i had a good time also in my latemodel the front diff pin broke only had rear wheel drive but that happens when you have all that horse powwer lol it was nice to see phillip the pan cars are starting to take to the track groove in rug is coming in and it

Don I had a good time sitting around talking and bench racing with the old Waycross gang,sure brought back old memories.You guys have a real nice facility and good atmosphere.The only thing I would recommend is setting your rules on classes to correspond with other tracks,so other racers can come and race at your track with the equipment they already have.Other then that I wish you guys all the luck in the world,I just wish we had a place like that when I lived there it sure would have cut down on traveling. Oh and by the way thanks for letting me drive your late model it was alot of fun even though it had a Bloomquist body on it ha ha !!!

yeah they ran yesterday,, i had to work,,
this weekend , they will be there saturday and taking sunday off for easter sunday
then the follow week on saturdays they are starting a point series,, for five weeks and its every other weekend.

HELLO RACERS: OVAL AND TOURING...

WE WILL BE STARTING A 5 WEEK POINTS RACE, APRIL 18th THROUGH JUNE 13th, 2009. RACE TO BE HELD EVERY TWO WEEKS. TRACK OPEN AT 12PM WITH RACING STARTING AT 4 PM.


Every two weeks starting April 18th thru June 13th.
Rain or shine indoors.

Dates: 1st race April 18th, 2nd race May 2nd, 3rd race May 16th, 4th race May 30th and 5th race of this series June 13th.

Times:
Open at 12 noon for practice.
Racing starts at 4:00pm.
House transponders available (I-Lap with RC-1 pro program)

Guidelines as follows:
1- Must have a minimum of 4 to have a race in each class.
2- Classes will be those listed at Checkered Flag Raceway.
3- Exceptions to classes= If there are 4 cars or more of another class other than listed we will allow, example (18th scale oval or touring).
4- All rules of track will apply.
5- You can enter more than one class.

Scoring will be as follows:
1- Each class will be totaled separately
2- Points from mains will be used.
3- If 8 cars are in a class A main, then first place finish will receive 8 points, 2nd 7 points,
3rd 6 points and so on.
4- A 40% percentage of money received will be given back in prizes by each class.
6- The prizes given back to be determined by amount taken in by each class. A class with a total of 40 races during the 5 weeks would get more prizes back than one with only 30.
7- All (A) mains will consist of up to 8 racers; points will be given for 1-8 of (A) mains. Minimum would be 4 racers in class.

Cost to enter:
1- 12$ for first class and 6$ for each additional class.

the touring latemodels and taxi cabs are the big class right now. that what the locals all started out on,, but me , and a few others have been running the the pancars on the practice days,, they move around this track, hope to see you come up and play on the rug.

3225 harris rd.
this is very close to airport, on west side.
the building name is Southeast Georgia Rehabilitation, race track is in rear of building. Tim will be there at noon Sat.

Believe it or not I am working down here. I am going to Branford Sunday though. We will get there soon. I still have the track in Macon to run as well if anyone still wants to race. We will probably only run a couple Sundays a month though.

Most of the Macon crew have things going on. I was supposed to do brabnford also but I dont think mother nature is going to cooperate. I will probably see you this afternoon.

Tim we have a 21.5 class and a break out class. We will be running on the 24th, the track will be open at 9 am and we start at 2 pm

had a great time this weekend, it was good to see all the out of towners that showed up and had fun. the pan cars was moving around the house pretty good, the latemodels was wild and crazy and the touring was a class showing, awesome night of racing. hope everyone can make it back again soon.

Some guys run the TM exotics, me included. I also like to run 3 pinks and a XX-Pink right front (BSR) and that seems to be fast as well

what is the transponder situation? We all have AMB personal transponders and I understand you use something different. I have a couple of AMB transponders to loan out if you come up and race with us.
