I really like the way you think. Most of your picks would immediately find a place in my collection. The 61 Starliner is a mystery to me why it has not been done before:confused:
WLRay 03-13-2009, 04:28 PM How about a 1962 Sport Fury Golden Commando.413 Wedge.

62 SPORT FURY Golden Commando ? Is that one exclusive to CANADA ?
THAT one HAS NOT been done .............
But I got a American 62 Sport Fury 2-dr hardtop with a 413 Wedge eh... with a bit of customized help :o
I yanked the mill out of the 64 Dodge 330 and with a JL 67 Cougar interior for the sake of the bucket seats , painted 2-tone to match a 1:1
The application of the extra silver paint to make it look chromey like a Sport Fury should , is NOT GOOD at all .. I really suck at that

your so right....It is a mystery.. the 60 and 61 Starliners were such a classy change from the goofy 59 Ford styling.. but I would welcome all 3 years in the collection ..
WLRay 03-13-2009, 11:12 PM Yes only Canada had the Golden Commando...
American production of Sport Furys was very low with just 4,039 made in ’62. Canadian production at Windsor was even smaller. American Sport Furys were available with powerful 383 or 413 Wedge engines. The biggest V8 option for the Canadian market was the 361 Golden Commando four barrel. It pumped out 305 horsepower, which was pretty good at the time.
GT350H 03-14-2009, 04:18 AM '69 Ford Cobra hardtop or a '68 Torino GT fastback or hardtop.
