The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest - The Complete First Season - Movie Description
Hanna-Barbera's much-loved animated series returns with this slick 21st century update. As in the original show, Jonny trails his father, Dr. Quest, across the world as he investigates mysteries that pit him against some of the world's most diabolical villains. Coming along are Dr. Quest's gruff bodyguard, Race Bannon, and adopted Indian son, Hadji; Jonny's pet dog, Bandit; and a brand-new character, Jessie--Bannon's sprightly daughter. Also introduced in this sequel series is a new dimension for arcane adventures: Questworld, a virtual reality simulation where the gang are rendered in lush computer animation. This collection presents all 13 episodes of the show's debut season.

Nope, saw it on TV and hated it. Everybody's eyes are "angry"

Not so good.

It's not so much a remake as a sequel, not just to the original series but also to the "New" episodes and TV movies HB produced back in the 80'-90's. Jonny, Hadji, and Jessie are all in their mid-teens in "Real". It was a show with good intentions but it also had myriad creative and production problems and the show ended up with huge delays in its' broadcast windows. It had some bright spots, especially in the second half of the series, but it's mostly an expensive failure.

George Segal sounded like he was just reading Dr. Quest's lines...no inflection or emotion at all...so he was given the heave-ho and replaced by John DeLancie (ST:TNG's Q)...much better casting IMHO...did like Robert Patrick as Race Bannon tho...

Is this the one where Johnny kept having teen angst over his mother's death? Or was that in the first sequel series?
Pass.

Pure rubbish....not worth taking the time to watch. Considering that it was more modern animation, I was appauled that the original still looked better in comparison.
