I am looking at getting a 17.5 brushless system, and I was wondering if there is an actual performance difference (speed) between the standard GTB and the Havoc systems???
Thanks
Thanks

View Full Version : Standard vs Havoc brushless performance Paul Songas 03-12-2009, 12:09 PM I am looking at getting a 17.5 brushless system, and I was wondering if there is an actual performance difference (speed) between the standard GTB and the Havoc systems??? Thanks  Butters16 03-12-2009, 02:40 PM i don't beleive you will notice any difference in the 17.5 motor with the esc. At our track running the 17.5 motors guys have won with the GTB and also with the XBR (havoc is the same they sayas XBR) Paul Songas 03-12-2009, 04:09 PM So, the 17.5 motors that come with the set ups are the same??? Sorry, newb on Brushless :hat: Butters16 03-12-2009, 04:22 PM The Havoc spec system comes with the 17.5 SS motor which is the same motor that the GTB comes with. What are you going to run for a battery if i may ask? C43GO 03-12-2009, 05:28 PM I think the only differance between the GTB and havok is the heat sink and the GTB comes with a fan which the havoc has the same plug for the fan but it is not bought witht he speedo. Minkis815 04-13-2009, 08:34 PM The havoc is a SPEC speed control. you cant run anything lower than an 8.5. but a 17.5 you will have no problem. i have it and its great. i run a one cell LiPo. Frankly you cant beat the price. Not even with a stick! Havoc over the GTB. And if you want a fan you can get one. not to sure how much they are tho. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
