Hope this goes over well!

New (actually old) class started up this past 2weeks....and man it was a blast! here are the rules for our track!
4 minute heats--Nascar bodies (Toyota,Ford,Chevy,Dodge) with rear cut out ok--1 inch spoilers from deck lid-- no wings!--windows cannot be painted for tech purposes!
Open Foam tires-- SMC single cell Lipo with 4000mah/25c rating--Novak havoc 13.5 system or equivalent( LRP< etc)-- Minimum chassis and body height 4mm-- 4 minute heats 4 minute mains-- max in heats 6-- max in A main 8-- we want to try to adhere to some of BRL rules as much as possible and want to make this a class that Sonny Brown would let us enter in the near future( hint, hint)....
If I missed anything ...please by all means respond...and then come and race!:woohoo::woohoo:

I was thinking about this class to for the Wisconsin Area. The only changes that I was thinking of was COT body and spec tires. I will be watching to see how this works for your track.

I could see this class replacing 17.5 4 cell in the future BRL seasons. If you want to make it BRL legal, you need to keep the rear of the body in tact. Just an observation. This is a class I would definitely race.

BRL has yet at adapt for 13.5 one cell, the rules were set per John of BSR. We'll see about it when the BRL Finals come. I believe the rule above are based on Ovalmasters rules.

It is a great class. The rear body cutout only served to settle the car in the corners, no speed was gained....yet :)

is there a chance that this class will be offered at the finals. I am heading out there to run mod, but up here in the northeast the 1 cell class is all i can run weekly so it would be cool to run a second class at the finals and be able to bring my car from home. keep me posted thanks mike

When I asked John about it, he said it is up to Sonny. I plan on running 17.5 4 cell if so.

I already run one in the 17.5/4cell class in Omaha and do fairly well there. It's an almost dead on replacement:thumbsup::thumbsup:

About 3.20 then gear to about 100 degrees motor temp. and you should be close.
