As you know due to the nature of the resincast mold rubber it is hard to mark them as even permanent marker tends to rub off. Here is what I do; When makiing a mold,I take a ballpoint pen & deeply mark in the cardboard mold box what the mold is for in "backwards' handwriting. When the mold is done, there are raised letters that tell you what the mold is for. This was a slosh mold for the Faller Porsche' 356 glass.

PS If only that rear part of the glass did'nt crack ! Now I have a crack line in the rear window !:freak:Oh well !

Neal,
Will have to do this on my next mold which, will be a Faller Porsche 911 window.
I use Legos for my mold boxes but could clear tape a piece of cardboard on the inside. Thanks for sharing this idea man.
My window has a small scratch on the rear inside of it and am thinking of using Future on it before casting it to possibly remove it.

not a bad idea . What I have done is I give each car a number take old used postal boxes( number it ) and put each car's molds body, glass ,and parts molds in the box it goes on my wall of selves and I have a clip board with each car and number and where on the self. I look for the car and what self and there it is .Plus after working with a mold as much as I have you can pickup a mold and know whats in it . I have about 400 molds and growing so this system worked for me and it's the same system I used in the Mattel/Tyco Model shop casting dept. where we had thousands of molds

The old saying a place for everything and everything in its place still has much merit. I see it works well for you, Bad Dawg. This is petty important ot us too. If you can't find a mold, we are so hosed! Our resin fix depends on your effecient production system.
Hey man, I can quit buying these bodies anytime, yah know! I just need one more new one to tide me over, man. :drunk::hat::freak::dude::tongue:
