I Currently Use A Futaba 3pk Radio With Spektrum Module And Spektrum Receiver. I Have Got To Try Out The New Spektrum Radio And Loved How Light They Are But I Dont Know Enough About Them To Be Willing To Give Up A Radio That I Love... But I Was Just Looking On Horizon Hoobies At There Spektrum Radios And Noticed That There Are A Dx3r And A Dx3s. The Dx3s Has The Telemetry System Built In And It Comes With Two Receivers One With The Telemetry Built In And One Just Basic Receiver And Its Only $249.00 And Then The Dx3r Only Comes With 1 Receiver And Its $319.00.. I Guess What I Am Trying To Ask Is The Dx3r That Much Better Than The Dx3s That It Comes With Only One Receiver And Is Still $70.00 More.....

The "r" is the faster Spektrum version. Since you are currently using the Spektrum with your 3PK, it would be faster. I would say the "r" is more comparable with the features of the 3PK but the "s" has the built-in telemetry. So your choice would have to be if you really need all of the micro-fine tuning features like your 3PK or give some of that up for the telemetry. Personally, I would never give up the telemetry as I like being able to check motor temps from the drivers stand when practicing.

The Only Features I Really Use On My 3pk Is The Dual Rate, Steering And Throttle Expo And My Trims But It Looks Like I Can Do All That With The Dx3s And I Am With You I Had The Telemtry Hooked Up On My 3pk With Seperate Unit And I Loved It But Had To Sell It... Do You Think I Would Be Ok With The Dx3s Or Should I Just Keep What I Got.......
