Does anybody know what BSR SPEC radials durometer readings are supposed to be? If so at what point would they considered to be worn out?

I alway go by lap times when there considered to be worn out.

As you lap time start to drop off, each track is different.

david why mot ask on the BSr tire thread in product support? john at bsr will help ya right out

Like Kat said, ask John, In the past I found that the handle went away when they got thin and soft, sort of a mushy feel to the tire. Used a finger durometer.

Like Ron said, you'll notice they either get spongy, or they'll get a spot where the kevlar or foam starts to show through. It looks kind of like a scrape. I've always started to see a difference when they get down around 2.30 in size.

Cap tires have yellow foam in them now....unless you have some OLD blue compound spec tires that were used at BMS!
