Is anyone using Spektrum Telemtry with a DXR3?

If so, what do you need? Do you but the nitro combo?

Is it worth it?

Regards!

the spektrum telemetry system will work with DX3R ONLY if used with DSM(1) type receiver...it won't work with DSM2...the new DX3S is agreat unit that include telemetry and usefull(temp and rpm)

I use one in electric so I can check motor temps while on the track. I can go out, run a minute or two and look at the motor temp to make sure I'm not overheating the motor. I feel it's saved my a motor at least once as the motor temp was 180+ after a couple of minutes.... wouldn't wanted to see what the temp would have been after 4 or 5 minutes.

Hit up Benji on the GASCAR threads. He runs that system in Nitro-Pan.

Will a spektrum pro module run a dsm2 reciever? I ordered a pro system, but I also have several parkflyer recievers I would like to use. Any help would be appriciated.

Hudson unfortunately it will not. You would need to use a DSM 1 receiver with your Pro module.

Also the air "parkflyer" type receivers will not bind to a surface module or transmitter.

Thanks for the reply. I have one more question, will a aircraft (fut) module fit a surface Futaba radio so I can run these recievers? The reason I am asking is that I have a TON of airplane stuff, and no surface recievers!
