I am working on mounting my new body and got to thinking, does everyone mount the body on the car straight or do you mount them at an angle like the NASCAR guys do? What is the general thought of mount the body either way.
sorry if this has been answered somwhere else.

I mount mine at a slight angle to allow for body roll when cornering. When my car sets flat on a table, the right side is about 3/16" higher than the left side. This is my personal preference. Let's see what the others say.
Good luck.

Um, I think he is asking if you mount it skewed, like napcar does. So it looks like it is dog tracking down the straight.
I do not, however mounting the body with a slight list to the left is standard for most.

Ya, that is what I meant, I think its been called "yaw" makes the car look like it is crap tracking down the straight away. Also is the an advatange to moving the body forwards or backwards?

I know on my WCM, I moved my body back for more rear traction. I think it depends on the chassis your running. Don't think anyone does the "yaw" thing.

I usually mount mine centered side to side and low as possible according to QSAC rules. Like others, I try to fudge it back a little for rear downforce.
