Lummox 03-07-2009, 03:18 PM MB boy, I don't recognize these as Matchbox.
If they were, they would say "Lesney" and have a number on the bottom.
For instance it might say "Lesney... No.10" on it.

These are made in the style of pre-2nd world war toys -they maybe 60 years old or else they are intended to look 60-70 years old in the style of old Tootsie toys.never seen these 2 before-if the wheels are metal they may really be old,if wheels are plastic then they are modern copies
metalwizard2000 03-08-2009, 01:23 PM Don't recognize the milk wagon or roller but love the others-
The De Thomaso Panteras on my list as one I've gotta pick up for a custom
The Monteverdi Hai 450SS is one of my favourites- they were gorgeous cars and the real cars were very very rare even in their day. I think they made far more of the huge convertible called the 'Hai Speed'. I always thought they were a beautiful alternative to the Ferraris and Lambos around at the time. Got a totally shot M/Box on the bench awaiting a new paint job and a set of proper chrome wires on rubber tires.
The blue Mustang brings back memories of one I had as a kid- Is it 'Piston Popper' with the red plastic pins poppin up and down when the front wheels are turned? God that seems a long time ago !! Cool stuff
Chinese MB boy 03-08-2009, 02:03 PM Yeah, the white' wheels are metal, the red's wheels are plastic:dude:
so the white diecast is so heavy!

Yeah, he can! I never found it until you tell me! thank you!!:p
GeraldE61 03-08-2009, 07:08 PM If those are real they are Tootsietoys as mentioned above. I don't remember them making knock offs of the roller, that is a rare piece if it is original. If you could take close of pics of those to, I can id them for you.

alex1485 03-12-2009, 01:16 PM the Monterverdi Hai was powered by a 426 Hemi... not the 440, I believe.
